"Even though it was not typical football weather, it was a beautiful day and we had a great time watching the Steelers and bringing home a big win!"  remarked Tonya Cantoni, the winner of the 2007  Observer Reporter Steelers Ticket Raffle.

A graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, Tonya earned a degree in Health Management Systems from Duquesne University.  She describes herself as a "huge Steelers fan" and has attended several games before.  Tonya purchased her winning ticket from a co-worker at Unison Health Systems, where she has been a business systems analyst for the past 16 months.  Ironically, last year's winner was also employed at  Unison and purchased his winning ticket from the same co-worker, Brad Trew.

Cumulatively, more than $17,000 has been raised for the Acorn Fund from this annual ticket raffle.  Top ticket seller this year was Ken Donahue at 101, followed closely by Ed Morasczyk at 100.

The Board of Trustees has approved the initiation of a special annual award from the Acorn Fund for charities serving Washington County.  Details will be announced early in the new year.
