The WCCF dedicates the year 2008 to Celebrating Philanthropy - The Next Generation in recognition of Thomas P. Northrop, who will assume the position of Chairman of the Board in July 2008. Tom's father, John L.S. Northrop, is also a past Chairman of the Board.
The Acorn Fund was created in 1999 as the WCCF's general discretionary grant-making fund. Several events have been planned for 2008 to support this fund in conjunction with our new marketing theme "Philanthropy - The Next Generation". For a list of planned and tentative events, please click here.
