Angel Ridge Animal Rescue


Angel Ridge Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit organization that was organized for the purpose of providing shelter, medical care, and food to abandoned, abused, and handicapped animals in southwestern Pennsylvania. The organization also promotes the adoption of the animals.

Programs and Services

  • The mission of Angel Ridge Animal Rescue is to provide shelter, food and veterinary care to abandoned and abused dogs, cats and horses. The ultimate goal is to adopt the animals into loving homes. Since Angel Ridge Animal Rescue is also a sanctuary, animals not adopted will have a home for life.
  • Angel Ridge Animal Rescue is a shelter and sanctuary for abandoned, abused and aged dogs, cats and horses. It is located on 50 acre Angel Ridge Farm. It has been in existence since 1999. Angel Ridge Animal Rescue is a no-kill shelter and sanctuary. Animals not adopted will have a home for life.
  • Angel Ridge Animal Rescue also does outreach to the community. We provide food to the caregivers of animals who cannot afford to buy it. We work with organizations assisting feral cats. We provide the services of individuals who speak to students on the subject of animal welfare.
  • Angel Ridge Animal Rescue accepts animals from animal control agencies, high-kill shelters and people in the community who must surrender their pet due to emergency circumstances.
