Metro Pittsburgh Youth for Christ/Campus Life

Mission

To reach young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the word of God and prayers, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and social involvement.

Programs and Services

  • Every day at local community centers, high schools, middle schools, coffee shops, and local hangouts, Youth for Christ staff and volunteers meet with young people who need Jesus. We are urban and suburban, and we are always about the message of Jesus--love, hope, and life!
  • Youth for Christ's Campus Life program combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation, and positively impact their schools. Campus Life seeks to engage these young people as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. Campus Life encourages balance--physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially. Campus Life offers fun, games, discussion, friends, and relevant talks. It is free and open to all 6th to 12th graders.
  • The Armory Youth Center in Canonsburg is a place where 6th-8th graders can find a safe and welcoming Christian environment that fosters positive physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth through their discovery of purpose, value, and the love of Christ.
  • The Armory Mentoring Program is a Christ-centered, whole person, relational ministry. Our efforts are to form a personal, positive, long-term, trusting relationship with young people, through which God can change their heart and help them grow personally.
