Washington County Bar Foundation
Established in 1989 for the purpose of further cultivating the science of jurisprudence, improving the legal and judicial system and facilitating the administration of justice through the support of pro bono efforts, legal services for the indigent, law-related education and scholarships, and public information and educational initiatives.
Programs and Services
- Provide grants to organizations for law-related projects and activities.
- Support pro bono efforts and legal services for the indigent.
- Provide programs for the public to increase an understanding of the importance of the rule of law to our society, American civic values, our courts and our system of justice, and the meaning of our democracy in a diverse society.
- Provide law school scholarships to Washington County residents enrolled at either University of Pittsburgh School of Law or Duquesne University School of Law.
