(2005) - This fund was created by family and friends of Dr. Adam Grossman in recognition of his 39th birthday.  "I wanted to not only enable a dream of Adam's to come true; helping the community that he has lived in the majority of his life, but also to celebrate the impressive husband, father, and man that he is," stated Adam's wife, Laura Grossman when discussing what inspired her to create the fund.

Adam was born in Cleveland, OH and was raised in Washington, PA.  He graduated from Washington High School in 1984.  After high school, Adam attended Washington & Jefferson College as a Chemistry major, then continued his education at the Ohio School of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in 1992.  After graduation, Adam returned to Washington to practice with his father, Dr. Louis Grossman in the family business started by Adam's grandfather, Dr. Nathan K. Grossman in 1932.  Since the retirement of Adam's father in 1999, he has been practicing alone.

Adam and his wife, Laura, have been married for 11 years and reside in Canonsburg.  Laura is a graduate of Youngstown State University, earning an Associates and Bachelors degree in Applied Science.  She worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician for six years, but currently does not work outside of their home.  They have four daughters, Leah Elizabeth (11), Hanna Irene (9), Moriah Lynn (7), and Talia Eve (5).  The girls enjoy gymnastics and taking turns golfing with their father on Wednesday mornings.
