This fund was initiated by a friend of Ms. Plumer.  Additional contributions have also been received from her family and other friends.  Ms. Plumer, who was born on July 11, 1940 in Grand Rapids Michigan, died on February 24, 2003.  She graduated from Washington High School and Thiel College.  Ms. Plumer was a teacher at Trinity High School.  She enjoyed reading and traveling and also was a fan of the arts.  The purpose of the fund is to provide an annual scholarship to a graduating senior from Trinity High School, pursuing a teaching degree.
