♦ The Legacy Gala: The Legacy Gala will be held on June 20 at the Holiday Inn Meadowlands. In addition to the Acorn Society Awards, we will present the Director's Choice Award which will include a $10,000 operational grant from the Acorn Fund.
♦ Acorn to Oak Community Day: This event will consist of planting oak trees and is contemplated for the fall. Sponsorships are being solicited to cover the costs of the trees, volunteer T-shirts, and other related expenses. We are currently looking for volunteers for this event.
♦ Acorn Society Awards: This event is meant to provide meaningful recognition to professional advisors who, through client referral help to increase the capacity of the WCCF to make charitable grants in order to improve quality of life conditions in Washington County.
♦ Philanthropist of the Year Banquet: Scheduled for Friday, November 14.
♦ Gift Annuity Program: (Tentative) The WCCF intends to initiate this program for its donors and shall permit other charities and their donors to participate in the program. Additional details will be provided at a later date.
