Richard White, former President of Washington Federal Bank, is a founding Trustee of the Washington County Community Foundation.  He spent more than 40 years with Washington Federal and has been actively involved in many organizations.  He served as Director for Pentegra, White Plains, NY, and on several committees for the PA Association of Community Bankers and America's Community Bankers.  Richard has also served as a trustee for both the Washington Federal Charitable Foundation and the Washington Hospital Foundation.  He is also past chairman of the Washington County Council on Economic Development, former Treasurer of the City of Washington Economic Development Council, and a former member of the Washington Business District Authority and Highland Ridge Community Development.  Other community activities include serving as past president of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and past director of the United Way of Washington County.  He and his wife Margaret live in Hickory.
