(2007) - Mona J. Horne was born July 13, 1931 in Lone Pine, daughter of Charles and Flora Closser Houston.  She married William Stuart Horne in 1957.  She was a 1950 Trinity graduate and served as vice president, secretary and treasurer of Marianna - Scenery Hill Telephone Co.  She was also a member of Nemacolin Country Club and the Women's Golf Association.
