At the time of his tragic death, Jim was 49 years old. Formerly of Centerville, OH, he was taken from us on Tuesday, December 24th, 2002. Jim was a past member of Southbrook Christian Church. He was a 1973 graduate of Centerville High School and attended Wright State University. Jim was a Vice-President and Co-owner of Kadon Corp., and was a sales supervisor at Best Buy in Bethel Park, PA.

But it was his love of performing magic for which he will be fondly remembered. Preceded in death by his father, John J. Miller in 1978, he is survived by his sons Jonathon and Matthew; daughter Jacqueline; granddaughter, June Ashley Miller; sisters Barbara (Steven) Milano and Melinda (Thomas) Zibrida; mother Thelma E. Miller and many loving nieces and nephews. As some of you may know, Jim gave the greatest gift of all on Christmas Day 2002. Through donating his organs, four families were given the gift of life.

This memorial fund will support projects which best exemplify Jim's life and interests.

Jim's family warmly thanks you for making it possible to create this fund as a positive focus from such a terrible tragedy.

Shimmer

As an ending comes flailing around us,
And the sun stammers into the sea
Let us be tempted to bask in the boundless
Intensities of the loving and free.
As the Moon crusades over a family
Whose hearts have been tested and crushed,
A shimmer of light will come dancing
Through the hearts of the hurt and the loved,
The shimmer will warm and surround them,
It will bring peace in the knowledge that God
Has the desire and ability to hold and to mend
The sweetness in the hearts of us all.

- Matthew David Miller
