The Monongahela Area Historical Society preserves the cultural and historical past of the greater Monongahela area for future generations.
Programs and Services
- The Monongahela Area Historical Society (MAHS) offers programming, many experiential community events, genealogical services and functions as a welcome center for the community.
- MAHS is restoring and maintains a historic property headquarters at 711 West Main Street, Monongahela that serves as a gathering place for the community. MAHS maintains an archive and is digitizing many materials to make them more accessible to the local and online communities. MAHS cooperates with various California University of Pennsylvania academic programs and other historical societies,
