Marianna Community Public Library


Community public library that purchases books, periodicals and magazines for approximately 3,500 to 4,200 patrons and provides educational programs for adults and children's summer programs.

Programs and Services

  • We provide weekly story hour programs for pre-school children. We provide a place for children to be after school, to use computers and printers for homework. A place for children to come read, play board games .
  • We provide programs for adults, such as programs on Alzheimer'sand being a caregiver, programs on children's behavior issues.
  • We provide fun programs, such as game night, Mother's Day Evening. We have a program on Bigfoot coming up.
  • Our summer reading programs are a great opportunity for children and adults to come and learn. Past programs have been on snakes, trips to the fire department. This year we have special programs, Pittsburgh's Zoomobile, Oglebay's Scrader Learning Center is coming.
