William and Grace Gullborg created the William H. & Grace E. Gullborg Fund in 2015 to support Trinity United Methodist Church in McMurray.
William and Grace Gullborg were born and raised in Renovo, Pennsylvania (Clinton County). They met while attending Renovo High School and were married in 1950, after Bill graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in accounting.
The couple relocated to Washington County in 1960 when Bill was transferred to Peters Township to be the manager of a manufacturing firm. When the company wanted him to relocate to New York City, Bill decided he wanted to stay in this region. So, he quit his job to “be his own boss forever.” Thirty days later, he got into the insurance business.
Working off of his commissions, Bill was committed to putting in the effort that would make his business a successful one for him and his family.
Today, Gullborg Insurance in McMurray has nearly 3,000 clients, serving all their personal, business, life, health, disability, and long-term care insurance needs. Bill works alongside his wife, Grace, and his three children. He has been recognized many times as a top agent nationally.
