Burgettstown Jr. Sr. High School Student Council Leadership Scholarship Fund for Burgettstown High School Graduating Seniors

Typical Award: One Scholarship of $500

Post-Secondary Program: Certificate, Associate, or Bachelor's

Requirements:

• Applicant must be a current graduating senior from Burgettstown Jr. Sr. High School who has at least a 2.5 Grade Point Average; who has at least one year of membership in the Student Council from grade 9; and who dedicated at least one year to a non-athletic school activity.

Application

To be considered for this award, the applicant must submit an online application that includes:

• A response of no more than 500 words to the following essay topic: How will my plans for post-secondary education help me to achieve success in my future career?
  
  
• A PDF of the applicant’s FAFSA Student Aid Report.

Deadline

All required application components must be received by April 1. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

The Foundation will take steps to secure transcripts for any applicant who is under consideration for an award. Scholarship awards are determined solely by the Foundation and scholarship awards may be rescinded at any time if upon further review, the applicant is deemed to be ineligible, or for any other reason as determined by the Foundation.
