Washington County Visiting Nurses' Association Scholarship Fund

Typical Award: Multiple Scholarships of at least $1,000

Post-Secondary Program: Nursing; At least Second Year

Requirements

  • Applicant must be a Washington County resident of two years or more who is a second-year or subsequent-year nursing student. Prior recipients are eligible to re-apply.

Application

To be considered for this award, the applicant must submit an online application that includes:

    • A response of no more than 500 words to the following essay topic: How will my plans for post-secondary education help me to achieve success in my future career?
    • A PDF of the applicant’s FAFSA Student Aid Report; as well as
    • A PDF of the applicant's most recent post-secondary transcript.

Deadline

All required application components must be received by April 1. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Questions regarding post-secondary scholarships or the application process should be directed to scholar@wccf.net.

Scholarship awards are determined solely by the Foundation and scholarship awards may be rescinded at any time if upon further review, the applicant is deemed to be ineligible, or for any other reason as determined by the Foundation.
