The George and Mary Matijevich Scholarship Fund was created in 2017 to honor the memory of George and Mary Matijevich.
The fund will annually award a scholarship to a graduating senior from Burgettstown High School, Avella Area High School, or Fort Cherry High School who is pursuing post-secondary education in the fields of electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, machine tool technology, or other related field. Scholarship recipients shall be selected by a Committee of the Foundation, based upon the student's financial need and demonstrated aptitude to complete the chosen course of study.
