Programs and Services
- Beyond Survival Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Washington County. Everything we do centers on our mission of Restoring Hope and Transforming Lives. At our ministry center in McMurray, we offer specialized small group ministries, professional and pastoral counseling, leader trainings, mentoring, community outreach, conferences and other events. We primarily serve local women and teens who have suffered the effects of sexual abuse/assault, rape, human trafficking or other forms of trauma. A Time to Heal Beyond Survival (ATTHBS), which is our flagship ministry, offers survivors the opportunity to walk through an 8-week, biblically-based healing journey. This powerful curriculum, which was written by our founder Sue Willis, has been proven to help women and teens overcome the pain and trauma of the past and walk in fullness and freedom. We also offer Kingdom Girls, an outreach program for at-risk girls ages 11-15, that focuses on instilling in them their true identity, purpose and worth. The foundational truths they learn in Kingdom Girls helps them stand strong when faced with the challenges and pressures of today’s culture. Over the years,Beyond Survival Ministries has ministered to thousands of women and teens, and we continue to find new ways to reach those who need help, hope and healing in our communities.
