Mission
We are a non-profit organization that helps to meet the needs of Washington County Senior Citizens. The Center's programs and activities help the elderly maintain their personal independence, reduce loneliness, increase a sense of belonging and status in society, remain active, and live out their lives in dignity.
Programs and Services
- WASCC is an integral part of the Washington County Social Services system. We are here to provide nutrition, socialization, and activities both physical and mental to the senior population. The services are geared to help seniors "age in place," which translates to staying in their homes rather than being in a facility. The entire community benefits from our efforts as seniors add to the richness of our country in many ways. Their knowledge of our history, their experience, and their love of our area and its residents contribute to a well-balanced community. We are continually looking to expand our offerings to meet the needs of all.
