Joan Griffin spent her life doing good for other people. When she retired in 1997, her friends and family wanted to express their gratitude in a lasting way.
The Friends of Joan Griffin Fund was created in Joanʹs honor to provide support to her favorite causes. One of Joan’s dear friends, Louis E. Waller, Sr. commented on the creation of the fund, “Joan’s legacy of service to the community can continue even though she is retired in an official sense. The fund will forever support the causes Joan believes in.” Joan passed away in 2002.
