The George and Mary Matijevich Community Fund was created in 2017 to honor the memory of George and Mary Matijevich.
The fund will award grants to support the communities served by the Burgettstown School District, Avella Area School District, or Fort Cherry School District. Grants may be awarded for community centers, playgrounds, libraries, walking trails, or other projects that will benefit the community as a whole, as well as those projects that will benefit specifically needy children and their families.
