American Cancer Society
Through our six geographic regions, we save lives, celebrate lives, and fight for a world without cancer.
Programs and Services
- The American Cancer Society is the leading organization supporting research related to all fields of cancer including minorities and children. We provide help to all those who need it through our 1-800-227-2345 and cancer.org information resource, available 24-hours-a-day/7-days-a-week.
- The ACS provides access to care through our transportation and lodging programs. Road to Recovery and Hope Lodge as well as partnership with hotels, we are able to support those dealing with a cancer diagnosis as well as their families. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been forced to adjust and adapt our in-person programs, but we are still supporting local patients getting to their treatments through direct grants to cancer treatment centers in our area. We have also made adjustments at our Hope Lodges and are able to safely accommodate guests.
- The American Cancer Society also serves as a lead advocate for all issues dealing with cancer, including those affecting screening, prevention and early detection.
