Mission

Bentleyville Library provides service to over 9,500 borrowers of books and computer access for the period ending December 31, 2013.

Programs and Services

  • The Bentleyville Public Library provides library services for the residents of Bentleyville Borough, Cokeburg Borough, Ellsworth Borough, North Bethlehem Township and Somerset Township.
  • These services include borrowing books, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, DVD’s, puppets, e-books, e-audios, computers, hotspots, Wi-Fi both in and out side of our building, Gale Courses along with many other resources. We allow other nonprofits to use our small meeting area for other groups that help the community. We belong to the Washington County Library System giving each card holder access to a shared database of online resources along with sharing our printed collections. This gives the patron the ability to request items online that can be checked out or returned from any participating library. Giving the patron full access at any time. We offer programs throughout the year for both adults and children and their families. These programs include Book Club, Coffee & Crayons, STEM Activities, Storytime, Summer Reading, Canvas & Coffee, Recipe Club, Knitting, outreach programs and so much more. We also provide a children’s area where families can enjoy a collection of learning toys and activities. This takes the library beyond just books.
