Mission
Specifically, the purposes of the corporation are: to provide scholarships for students who graduate from Chartiers-Houston High School; to make grants to the Chartiers-Houston School District for innovative educational programs; and, to provide innovative educational programs to, or in conjunction with, the Chartiers-Houston School District.
Programs and Services
- Scholarships for Students: We provide scholarships for exceptional Chartiers-Houston students who are looking to continue their education beyond high school. We are proud to support the aspirations of our students.
- Teacher grants: We have expanded to provide grants for teachers who are looking to improve their practice, impact student learning, and enrich the academic and extracurricular classes in our district. We are proud to support the lifelong learning of our dedicated teachers and are currently seeking partners to launch this worthy program.
- Community events: We organize community events, the Bucks for Bucs 5K Race & Fun Walk, and Bucks for Bucs Sports Camp, which help fund our scholarships. We are proud to bring the community together and engage children in new extracurricular activities.
