Mission
Our mission at Citizens Library is to provide the resources to enrich, inform, and educate the public.
Programs and Services
- Educational and engaging library programs for adults, teens and children such as book clubs, stem programs, author talks, storytimes, and more.
- Free computer and internet access.
- A wide variety of resources such as books, DVDs, magazines, e-books and audiobooks that are available county wide for free with a library card.
- Free online language learning software(Mango Languages), online learning courses like digital photography and safety through Gale and Knowledge City, access to reference materials and information through the Gale Virtual Reference Library and POWER Library.
- Dorothea and Henry H. Hood Local History Center containing local newspapers, yearbooks, family history, and access to microfilm and Ancestry.com.
