Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania*

Mission

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Programs and Services

  • For over 110 years, Girl Scouts have found a way to dream big and do good. From selling cookies to making lifelong friendships, climbing mountains to helping solve climate change—there is no challenge too big or need too small for a Girl Scout to tackle. They’re creating a better future for themselves, their communities, and the world.
  • With the help of supportive adults and troop leaders, Girl Scouts experience hands-on activities in subjects ranging from STEM and the outdoors to life skills and entrepreneurship, making Girl Scouts natural leaders in the classroom, at home, and in their communities. They’re provided with much-needed support in an environment of inclusion and sisterhood, helping girls foster behaviors that improve their overall wellbeing.
  • Any girl in grades K–12 can join the fun at Girl Scouts! From joining a troop to spending a week at summer camp, Girl Scouts have the chance to meet others from their neighborhood, community, and nearby schools. Whether you want to be part of a troop, sign up for exciting series or events, explore the outdoors, or travel the world, each age level has something to offer.
