Mission
To provide volunteer fire and medical protection to the Borough of McDonald and the surrounding communities.
Programs and Services
- The McDonald Volunteer Fire Department provides emergency medical care, fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, among other calls to service around the clock to residents of Washington & Allegheny Counties. CPR certification, fire prevention, & fire inspections are also provided to the community by the department. The department also supports many community functions & needs such as blood drives as well as being the custodian of the McDonald Area Food Bank. The departments commercial kitchen is also used to support the McDonald Area Meals on Wheels Program.
