Eighty Four, PA - The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is currently accepting applications for its second and final cycle of capacity-building grants for 2025. More than $200,000 is expected to be awarded in this cycle, with individual grants typically ranging from $5,000 to $50,000.
Capacity-building includes activities that enhance a nonprofit’s operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity.
The grants are primarily intended for 501(c)(3) charities, though other nonprofits requesting support for a charitable project, as defined by the IRS, may also be considered. Applications must be submitted via the Foundation’s website at www.wccf.net by October 1, 2025.
“We saw a strong pool of competitive applications during the first cycle, and we anticipate similar interest for this second round of capacity-building grants,” said Joann Naser, WCCF Manager of Nonprofit Leadership & Engagement. “Priority areas remain financial process improvement, strategic planning, data management, and communications, including websites and marketing plans. We encourage interested nonprofits to contact the Foundation office before applying to discuss their proposal.”
