Community Foundation Elects Officers


Eighty Four, PA – The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce the election of its new officers, effective July 1, 2022.

E. Alex Paris, III

Elected as Chairman of the Board was E. Alex Paris. He is the third generation at the helm of the family business, Alex E. Paris Contracting, in Smith Township. A lifelong resident of Washington County, Paris graduated from Avella High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from West Liberty University. He has served as the Vice Chairman of the National Utility Contractors Association and is a Former President of the PA Utility Contractors Association. In both 2001 and 2009, he was named Contractor of the Year by the PA Utility Contractors Association.

Michael S. Anderson

Michael S. Anderson was elected as Vice Chairman and Chairman-Elect. He is a certified public accountant and co-founder of Imperial Tax South Hills. Anderson is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washington & Jefferson College and is enrolled in the Quickbooks Pro Advisor Program.

Barbara A. Graham

Barbara A. Graham was elected as Secretary. She is the senior member of Peacock Keller’s School Law Group and a member of its Employment Law Group. Barbara performed both her undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science followed by her Juris Doctorate degree from its School of Law. Barbara received the President’s Award for Distinguished Career Achievement from the Solicitor’s Association, in recognition for her longstanding service and commitment to the organization as well as fellow solicitors.

Richard L. White

Richard L. White was elected as Treasurer. He is the retired President & CEO of Washington Federal (now Washington Financial) and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. A Founding Trustee and past Chairman of the WCCF, White was recognized for his exceptional, long-standing commitment to the Foundation in 2012 when the Board of Trustees presented him with the inaugural Richard L. White Excellence Awardfor Board Service.
