EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. – The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce a generous $9,500 contribution from First Commonwealth Bank to support educational programs through the Foundation’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Funds.
This contribution includes $5,500 directed to the Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) Fund, $2,000 to the Educational Pre-K Scholarship Organization (EPK) Fund, and $2,000 to the Educational Scholarship Organization (ESO) Fund. Together, these funds provide transformative learning experiences for students across Washington County by supporting innovative programs in both early learning and K–12 education.
Since 2006, First Commonwealth Bank has contributed a cumulative total of $112,500 to the WCCF’s EITC initiatives, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to educational advancement in the community.
The EITC Program, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, enables businesses to receive tax credits for contributions made to approved educational improvement organizations such as the WCCF.
