More than $130,000 in Post-Secondary Lifelong Learning Grants Available to Local Students

Eighty Four, PA – The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce the availability of more than $130,000 in post-secondary lifelong learning grants for local students.

Grants are available for all levels of post-secondary education, including certificate programs, trade school programs, and associate, bachelors, and advanced degree programs. Interested students are encouraged to review the criteria online at www.wccf.net.

While each grant opportunity has its own criteria and requirements, the WCCF utilizes a universal grant application which will indicate any necessary supporting documentation required such as an essay response, FAFSA Student Aid Report, and/or a transcript. The website now features functionality to search for available grants by high school.

Applications are to be submitted via the website by April 1 and questions may be directed to the Foundation at 724-222-6330 or scholar@wccf.net. There is no fee to apply for a lifelong learning grant.

Cumulatively, the Foundation has awarded approximately $4.3 million in lifelong learning grants.
