EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. – A new grant opportunity benefiting school districts has been established through a partnership between Range Resources and the Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF). The newly created Range Resources School District Enrichment Fund is now accepting applications.

This latest initiative builds upon Range Resources’ longstanding commitment to supporting local communities. In 2018, they launched the Range Resources Good Neighbors Fund to provide critical funding for fire departments and emergency management organizations within its core operating area. Since then, the Fund has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to local first responders.

In addition to providing educational grants throughout the year within the school districts where the company operates, Range Resources also hosts its own programs including the Range Resources STEM Challenge and Scholarship programs in partnership with Intermediate Unit 1, and Power of Her in partnership with Dress for Success Pittsburgh, among others. The new School District Enrichment Fund will provide an opportunity for schools to share with Range and the community the good things happening within their District, and Range looks forward to funding programs that will enhance academic opportunities for our local students and support local educators.

“Our employees are passionate about giving back to students and teachers and enjoy sharing information about careers via our educational programs and within our local school district’s career-focused events,” says Christina Kramer, Range Resources Community Relations Manager. “This fund will allow for our partnerships within school districts to grow and help us to support educators striving to provide impactful learning experiences for the next generation.”

School Districts within Range Resources’ operating area are invited to apply for funding of up to $5,000 for academic programming, supplies and classroom improvements for the 2025-26 school year. To apply, applicants should visit the Foundation’s website at www.wccf.net. The deadline to apply is Monday, June 30.
