EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. – A new round of funding is now available for school districts through the Range Resources School District Enrichment Fund, a partnership between Range Resources and the Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF).

Following a successful inaugural year that awarded more than $50,000 to 13 school districts, the Fund is once again accepting applications for the 2026 cycle. Schools within Range Resources’ operating area are invited to apply for grants of up to $5,000 to support academic programming, supplies, and classroom improvements for the upcoming school year.

“Range is proud to partner with our local school districts year-round,” said Christina Kramer, Community Relations Manager at Range Resources. “This fund has allowed us to provide support for educators to empower the next generation through creative endeavors.”

The School District Enrichment Fund builds on Range Resources’ longstanding commitment to supporting education and strengthening local communities. In addition to providing grants, the company offers a variety of educational initiatives throughout the year, including the Range Resources STEM Challenge and scholarship programs in partnership with Intermediate Unit 1, as well as Power of Her in partnership with Dress for Success Pittsburgh.

During the inaugural grant cycle, funding supported a wide range of innovative projects. At Trinity High School, for example, grant funding helped expand a sensory-friendly silent disco program. This provided additional equipment and allowed more than 300 students, including those with special needs from neighboring districts, to participate in inclusive events.

The Fund is part of a broader effort by Range Resources to invest in the communities it serves. “Since 2018, Range Resources has awarded more than $1.45 million through its Good Neighbors Fund to support local fire departments and emergency management organizations,” said Aliesha Walz, WCCF President and CEO. “This level of investment speaks to the power of long-term partnerships and a shared commitment to strengthening our communities.” Additional initiatives, such as the Range Resources Municipal Enrichment Fund, further demonstrate the company’s commitment to community impact.

School districts interested in applying for the 2026 funding cycle can find more information and submit applications through the Foundation’s website at www.wccf.net. The application deadline is Friday, May 1, 2026.
