EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. –The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce that it has awarded $500 grants to seven local charities to strengthen their leadership and governance. With generous support from CHROME Federal Credit Union, the funding will enable these organizations to engage Nonprofit SideKick, a local consulting firm, for a two-hour board training session focused on the duties, roles, and responsibilities of board members.
The grant recipients include 25FortyPGH, Beyond Survival Ministry, Blueprints, Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging, and the Olivia Scott Foundation. This support is part of WCCF’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the effectiveness and impact of local nonprofits.

The WCCF’s mission is to improve the quality of life in Washington County by promoting and facilitating philanthropy.
