EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. – The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is now accepting registration applications for WCCF Gives 2026, its annual community-wide giving event that continues to make a significant impact across Washington County, having raised nearly $16 million over the past 13 years to support local charities.

For many organizations, WCCF Gives has become a cornerstone fundraising effort. Others have found that participation introduces their mission to entirely new audiences, connecting them with donors who first discover their work through the giving platform. Donors, in turn, value the ease of supporting multiple charities in one place, often increasing both participation and overall giving.

“WCCF Gives is more than just a fundraising event. It is a powerful way to bring our community together in support of local nonprofits,” said Aliesha Walz, WCCF President & CEO. “Each year, we see the impact grow as more organizations and donors participate.”

Now in its second year utilizing Bonterra’s giving day platform, participating charities will benefit from enhanced tools, an improved donor experience, and expanded marketing opportunities designed to help organizations effectively share their stories and inspire support.

The WCCF reminds interested organizations that registration is required annually, even for those who have participated in previous years. This process ensures that all organizational information, including leadership, contact details, and nonprofit status, is current and accurate, allowing for a smooth and successful experience for both nonprofits and donors.

The deadline to register for WCCF Gives 2026 is Monday, June 1, 2026. Participation is open to eligible 501(c)(3) public charities serving Washington County.

The community-wide giving event begins on August 1 with check contributions and concludes on September 10, when credit card contributions are also accepted from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. via www.wccfgives.org.
