Anica D. Rawnsley Scholarship Fund
For a current year graduating senior who resides within the boundaries of any Washington County school district and plans to enroll in a certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree program. In the selection process, preference shall be given to students not receiving substantial government aid and/or who are not normally selected for other scholarships.

Black Family Scholarship Fund
For current year graduating seniors who reside within the boundaries of the Avella Area School District or the West Greene School District, plan to enroll in an associate or bachelor’s degree program, and who demonstrate academic excellence. Qualified applicants who intend to study agriculture, education, or nursing will be given special consideration.

Carol L. Berthold Scholarship Fund for Dance
For a current year graduating senior who is pursuing a degree in dance at an accredited post-secondary educational institution and demonstrates both financial need and academic excellence. Qualified applicants from Washington County will be given preference. The award is renewable annually, provided the recipient remains enrolled in the dance program and in good academic standing (as defined by the institution).

CAS/Dr. Kim Stacher Scholarship Fund
For a student who resides within the boundaries of any Washington County or Greene County school district, demonstrates financial need, and who plans to enroll in a certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree program. Qualified applicants who participated in the Headstart program will be given special consideration.

Chapman Family Scholarship Fund
For current year graduating seniors of any Washington County or Greene County high school who demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to certificate, trade, or technical school applicants. Awardees may be eligible for up to three subsequent-year scholarships, provided they maintain eligibility.

Curtis Wachter Scholarship Fund
For a current year graduating senior who resides within the boundaries of any Washington County or Greene County school district, who intends to study photography, photojournalism, or a related discipline.

Douglas T. Corwin, M.D. Memorial Scholarship Fund
For a current year graduating senior who resides within Washington County, and who is pursuing any bachelor’s degree program.

George and Mary Matijevich Scholarship Fund
For a current year graduating senior from Burgettstown High School, Avella High School, or Fort Cherry High School, who demonstrates financial need and is pursuing post-secondary education in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, machine tool technology or a related field. Preference will be given to certificate, trade, or technical school applicants.

John & Sophie Choratch Scholarship Fund
For current year graduating seniors of any Washington County high school, whose parent or guardian is employed as, or who volunteers as, a first responder (e.g., fire, emergency/rescue, police). Special consideration will be given to those students whose parent or guardian has been killed in the line of duty or who have otherwise been affected by local tragedy.

Kiwanis Club of Washington Scholarship Fund
For students who reside within the boundaries of the Avella Area School District, McGuffey School District, Trinity Area School District, Washington School District, and/or attended the Western Area Career & Technology Center and who plan to enroll in a certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree program. Qualified applicants who are planning to attend or currently attending Penn Commercial Business/Technical School and/or have a strong community service background will be given special consideration.

McDonald Family Cookie Jar Scholarship Fund
For a current year graduating senior who resides within the boundaries of any Washington County school district, who plans to enroll in a certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree program, and who demonstrates financial need. In the selection process, preference shall be given to students from under-represented, disadvantaged and/or diverse populations.

Olivia Scott Scholarship Fund
For current year graduating seniors of any Washington County high school, who demonstrate academic excellence, sportsmanship, and/or the ability to work with others towards a common goal.

Three Oaks Scholarship Fund
For current year graduating seniors or non-traditional students who reside within the boundaries of the Burgettstown School District, Fort Cherry School District, or Avella Area School District and who are pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited trade or technical school. Preference will be given to qualified applicants who reside within the Burgettstown School District.

Washington County Gay Straight Alliance Scholarship Fund
For graduating seniors from a Washington County high school, a non-traditional senior living in Washington County, or a young adult through age 21 having completed high school requirements who has advocated for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Questioning, Queer, Asexual, or Allied (LGBTQA) community. Students may be planning to enroll/enrolled in a certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree program. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need. Essay responses will also be given particular consideration. With regards to the publicity of the scholarship, students selected to receive an award will be provided with an opportunity to allow or decline the release of their name.

Washington Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Scholarship Fund
For a current year graduating senior of any Washington County high school who is pursuing a nursing degree at the Washington Hospital School of Nursing.

William and Sara Litle and Roy and Sara McCullough Scholarship Fund
For a current year graduating senior of Washington County or Greene County who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Washington & Jefferson College in music or economics.
Please Note: A scholarship can be rescinded if it is determined, in the sole discretion of the WCCF, that a student’s application contained information that was inaccurate, that upon consideration of facts unknown at the time the application was evaluated that the student, or the program the student intends to attend, fails to meet the scholarship qualifications, or that through a change in circumstances the student no longer meets the scholarship qualifications. Other circumstances that could lead to the rescission of a scholarship include but are not limited to: if a student is placed on academic and/or disciplinary probation, or if a student does not enroll full-time in a program of study for the time period in which the award is to be in effect. The WCCF has the sole and exclusive authority to make decisions as to eligibility.
