Bridget Broaddrick Fund

Bridget Broaddrick Headshot

With a caring heart and a generous spirit, Bridget Broaddrick was committed to helping others.

She was born on December 9, 1965 to Morrison F. and Rosemary Sheridan Lewis.

After graduating from Jeannette High School in 1983, Bridget earned a bachelor of science degree in social work from Gannon University. While a student at Gannon, she was a founding member of Tri Sigma sorority and met the love of her life, Terry. The couple married May 23, 1987, in Sacred Heart Parish in Jeannette and enjoyed 31 beautiful years of marriage.

Locally, Bridget served as a volunteer with the Trinity Parent-Teacher Association, Girl Scouts, as well as Trinity Ice Hockey Club. Additionally, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish and worked as bookkeeper for Battery Systems Inc.

Yet, more than anything, Bridget was the perfect mother to her three children: Megan, Allison, and Ryan. She found great joy in their happiness.

Always putting others first, Bridget gave herself entirely to her family and her community, leaving a mark on everyone she met.

As one of her final acts of kindness, she requested that friends and family members honor her with gifts that would help those in need.

The Bridget Broaddrick Fund supports programs that serve disadvantaged women and children, in conjunction with the Foundation’s Mother’s Fund.
