Community Foundation Opens Final Capacity-Building Grant Cycle of 2021

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is currently accepting applications for capacity-building grant requests ranging from $5,000 to $50,000. Capacity-building is defined as any activity that increases the non-profit’s operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity. Examples include but are not limited to: equipment or material purchases, capital campaigns nearing completion of the campaign, facility upgrades, strategic plans, succession plans, marketing plans or marketing materials, improvements to accounting and financial systems, constituent management software, websites with content management systems, and program design or program expansion.

Community Foundation Announces $250,000 Grant to Food Helpers

The Washington County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that it has awarded a $250,000 matching grant to Food Helpers, the new umbrella organization for the Greater Washington County Food Bank.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce the election of three new Trustees at its Annual Meeting, which was held this past June. The new Trustees include W. Taylor Frankovitch, Chad A. Griffith, and Harlan G. Shober Jr.

Community Foundation Partners with Tourism Agency in Support of PONY World Series

The Washington County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency, an affiliate of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, to support World Series Tournaments for its upcoming 2021 Dick’s Sporting Goods PONY World Series. Both the Community Foundation and the Tourism Agency will provide grants of $35,000 each, for a total of $70,000.

WCCF Awards $25,000 Marketing Grant to Food Helpers

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) recently awarded a $25,000 grant to Food Helpers, the umbrella organization for the Greater Washington County Food Bank. The grant will be used to implement the Here to Help Marketing Plan of Food Helpers.
