EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. – A new grant opportunity benefiting municipalities has been established through a partnership between Range Resources and the Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF). The newly created Range Resources Municipal Enrichment Fund, supported by a $50,000 commitment from Range Resources, is now accepting applications.
The Fund is the latest example of Range Resources’ dedication to investing in the communities where it operates. In 2018, the company launched the Range Resources Good Neighbors Fund, which has since awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to fire departments and emergency management organizations. More recently, in May 2025, Range Resources established the Range Resources School District Enrichment Fund, which awarded more than $50,000 to provide additional resources for students and educators.
“The Municipal Enrichment Fund represents a natural extension of Range’s culture and longstanding community outreach,” said Laural Ziemba, Director of Public Affairs at Range Resources. “Through our ongoing conversations with local elected officials, we became aware of areas in our community that need additional support and we are hoping to close some of those gaps with these funds.”
Qualified Townships that have well sites within their jurisdiction are invited to apply for funding of up to $5,000. Grants may include continuing education opportunities for municipal staff and office upgrades including IT equipment or office supplies.
To apply, applicants should visit the Foundation’s website at www.wccf.net. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, September 30.
