CHROME Federal Credit Union has stepped forward as the first-ever sponsor of the Community Foundation’s Board Development Grants program.
This grant opportunity helps local charities strengthen board governance through a customized two-hour session facilitated by Nonprofit SideKick. Each session is tailored to the needs of the recipient organization and covers the duties, roles, responsibilities, and rights of board members, including fundraising.
Eligible Grantees:
Any 501(c)(3) charity, that is not a "private foundation" as defined in section 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, who files the Federal Form 990 annually, and who is headquartered in Washington County, PA.
Eligible Requests:
To contract with Nonprofit SideKick for one board development session.
Grant Amount:
$500 per organization.
Application Information:
Applications will be accepted beginning in January.
