The GIVE Washington County Fund was created at the WCCF in 2023 by EQT to serve as a resource for Washington County nonprofits to help evolve their missions and sustain the important work they do for our community. To encourage its landowners to contribute, EQT has pledged to match up to $10,000 per land lease for contributions to the Fund. The amount of the annual grants will increase as the value of the Fund grows.
This is a flexible grant opportunity, with no prescribed purpose for the grant requests. However, requests for general operating support or routine program support will not be considered. A total of $10,000 will be awarded this year.
Grants from the Fund will be no less than $2,500 per grantee. Requests will be considered by a grants committee comprised of contributors to the Fund. The amount of the annual grants will increase as the value of the Fund grows.
