EIGHTY FOUR, Pa. – The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is now accepting grant applications from local nonprofits through the GIVE Washington County Fund. Eligible applicants include nonprofit, governmental, and educational institutions that provide charitable services within Washington County.

Established in 2023 by EQT, the GIVE Washington County Fund was created to support local organizations as they strengthen and evolve their missions while sustaining the critical services they provide to the community. To further expand the Fund’s impact, EQT has pledged to match contributions from its landowners up to $10,000 per land lease.

Structured very broadly, the Fund may support any nonprofit providing charitable services in Washington County. For the 2026 grant cycle, priority will be given to projects focused on technology and innovation. This includes efforts such as piloting innovative approaches to organizational challenges, adopting or upgrading technology systems, streamlining workflows through digital tools, or improving cyber security. Applicants should demonstrate how the support will build the organization itself, creating lasting improvements that extend well beyond the grant period.

Nonprofit organizations who would like to be considered for a grant should apply by May 15, 2026, via www.wccf.net. Questions should be directed to the Foundation at 724-222-6330 or allocations@wccf.net.
