The Washington County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency, an affiliate of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, to support World Series Tournaments for its upcoming 2021 Dick’s Sporting Goods PONY World Series. Both the Community Foundation and the Tourism Agency will provide grants of $35,000 each, for a total of $70,000.

A total of $127,597 in grants from the Range Resources Good Neighbors Fund at the Washington County Community Foundation was recently awarded to 32 local first responder organizations. The grants will help purchase a variety of items including rescue tools, personal protective equipment, and firearms, as well as support critical facility upgrades.

The WCCF recently awarded a $100,000 grant to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum (PTM) in support of the Museum’s $17 million On Track for the Future capital campaign. The grant was issued from the Foundation’s Acorn Fund, a pooled fund that accepts contributions from many separate donors.

Eighty Four, PA – The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) recently awarded a $12,000 technology grant from its Close to Home Disaster & Emergency Fund to Washington Communities Human Services (WCHS) to purchase an information technology server for tele-health services. This grant complements a $15,000 technology grant the Foundation made to WCHS in 2018.
