The Washington County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the Community PILLARS Class of 2025. This charity governance certificate program was developed to help improve the governance practices of charities in Washington County.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) announced today that this year’s WCCF Gives event raised more than $1.9 million for 152 local charities, marking a 7% increase over last year's contributions total and the highest number of gift designations in the program's history.

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, up to $32,000 in processing costs related to WCCF Gives credit card contributions will be covered, ensuring that more donor dollars directly benefit local charities.

A new grant opportunity benefiting municipalities has been established through a partnership between Range Resources and the Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF). The newly created Range Resources Municipal Enrichment Fund, supported by a $50,000 commitment from Range Resources, is now accepting applications.

The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) is currently seeking applications from local nonprofits for grants from the GIVE Washington County Fund. Grant requests may be submitted from any nonprofit, governmental or educational institution providing charitable services in Washington County.

The Washington County Community Foundation has awarded $230,000 in capacity-building grants to 16 local nonprofits, providing support for projects designed to strengthen their programs, operations, and long-term stability. Capacity-building is defined as any activity that increases a nonprofit’s operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity.
