Range Resources Good Neighbors Fund Surpasses $1.2 Million in Awards to First Responders

Made possible through the partnership of Range Resources and its many contractors, the Range Resources Good Neighbors Fund at the Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) has surpassed a major milestone: awarding more than $1.2 million in grants to local first responders since the Fund’s inception in 2018.

Exciting Changes for WCCF Gives 2025

Over the past 12 years, the Washington County Community Foundation has cumulatively awarded close to $14 million in unrestricted grants to Washington County charities through WCCF Gives. For some organizations, WCCF Gives has become their primary fundraising event of the year. Others have shared that participation has helped them attract new donors who first learned about their services through the WCCF Gives website.

WCCF Funds Board Training for Local Nonprofits

The WCCF is pleased to announce that it has awarded $500 board developmentĀ grants to seven local charities to strengthen their leadership and governance. The funding will enable these organizations to engage Nonprofit SideKick, a local consulting firm, for a two-hour board training session focused on the duties, roles, and responsibilities of board members.
